Our Philosophy:
On your wedding day, everything moves so fast, we want to slow down time and capture the fleeting moments so you can relive them long after your flowers wilt, your cake is eaten, and your guests have flown home. We always aim to capture the raw in-between moments. Your dad wiping away a tear as he sees you for the first time, your newlyweds hand grazing the small of your back, your head thrown back in laughter as they whisper something in your ear (maybe sweet, maybe salty).
We aim to capture photos that look and feel like you using the art of 35 mm and 120 film, polaroids, super8 films, and digital photos. Documenting the thoughtful details of the day, candids of your loved ones coming together, and the in-between moments as they unfold. Using natural light and direct flash with true to tone film inspired editing we create photos that feel elevated and editorial yet relaxed and real. Your wedding photos should reflect who you are as a couple- not whatever instagram filter is currently trending.
Our approach:
We are not just there on your wedding day hiding behind a big camera (or the 7 different film cameras we are usually toting), we are there in the weeks and months leading up to the big day. To calm your nerves, talk about your inspiration, and craft a seamless timeline. The day of; we’ll help you pin your boutonniere, sew any last minute wardrobe emergencies (no seriously, it’s happened), and wrangle Aunt Marge away from the charcuterie and oysters for family photos! After the wedding we get to work on editing your gallery of photos, keeping your unique love story in mind through the moment your heirloom album ends up on your doorstep.
Our Process:

Let’s get to know each other!
After you fill out our contact form, we will be in touch with a follow-up email to schedule a phone call. During this pre-booking consultation call we will get to know each other and ensure that we are a good fit for each other! Your love story is important to us - we want to get to know you and learn how we can best capture the magic of your day!
2.
Getting you on our books:
After our call, we will send you a proposal and a custom wedding day timeline using the unique details of your day as discussed. After the contract is signed and the retainer is paid, you are officially booked! We are so excited!
3.
A high touch experience:
Throughout your planning process, and in the weeks and months leading up to your wedding day, we will be here for you! Being as involved as you would like us to be, we will work closely with you and your planning team to make sure your day runs smoothly. Helping you craft a seamless timeline, location scouting, styling, and vendor suggestions. Sharing tips and tricks along the way!
4.
Your engagement session:
Being engaged is such a special time and deserves to be documented. An engagement session gives us a chance to really get to know each other and to get y’all feeling comfortable in front of the camera before your big day! Let’s create an experience that feels like you two. Whether it is flash photos at the bar you had your first date, curled up in front of the fireplace in your apartment, or running around the LES popping a bottle of champagne!
5.
Pre-wedding questionnaire:
As your wedding day draws nearer we will send you a pre-wedding questionnaire. This will ensure we have all of the details of your day. We will schedule a call with you + your planner to ensure we have everything in place to capture your day seamlessly!
6.
Your wedding day:
On your wedding day we combine a documentary approach with an editorial edge. Observers discreetly capturing the quiet in-between - and gently yet firmly directing when the moment calls for it. You should feel fully present and relaxed - soaking up every second of the day. We are here to capture it all; from the details of the day, to your portraits, to candids of your family and friends, and everything in between.
7.
Gallery delivery:
A few days after you have said your “I-do’s” you will receive your sneak peek! This preview will be a selection of key photos from your day delivered in an online gallery. Your film photos will be added to your gallery within a few weeks. Your final gallery containing hundreds of images will be delivered on average within 8-10 weeks. Pop the bubbly and make viewing your final gallery a date night!
8.
Tangible keepsakes:
Preserving your photographs as tangible items that can be held and viewed is so important. Your love story deserves to be preserved and passed down through generations. Through prints from the print shop right in your gallery and a custom designed heirloom album.
Inclusivity:
All love is celebrated here! Being an LGBTQ+ couple ourselves, we know how unnerving it can be reaching out to a wedding vendor not sure if it is a safe space for you and your guests. It is of the most importance to us that everyone who works with us feels celebrated and accepted for who they are. We will never turn a couple away for their race, gender, or sexual orientation. This sentiment is extended to all of our couple's guests, family, and fellow vendors. Love and respect is at the core of our business.
